1988 BMW K 100 RT,

This classic BMW K100 RT PROJECT BIKE was not ridden for an extended period. It didn’t start when it first came to us but after installing a NEW BATTERY in it, she fired right up and ran normally, more-or-less. However, it will need to have much of the deferred maintenance done before it passes inspection and can be the safe, reliable bike it promises to be. But our evaluation didn’t reveal anything fundamentally wrong that would cause alarm. It just needs a lot of TLC. So, are you ready to get busy? You can be the one to turn this PROJECT BIKE into a bike to be proud of! Learn more right now by calling 1-888-269-2627 to speak with one of our Certified Sales Advisors — Jim, Paul, George, or Todd. Call TODAY!

As with all PROJECT BIKES we want buyers to know as much as possible about the bike before making a purchase. We’ve nothing to hide and our only goal is that each new owner feels they paid fairly and got good VALUE. We encourage you to call, schedule a time to meet with one of our sales advisors, and inspect the machine in person to fully understand all the positives as well as the potential downsides involved in the refurbishing process. Please take a moment to learn more about Bob’s PROJECT BIKE program HERE .

This K100 RT is powered by BMW’s strong and smooth, inline four-cylinder engine, affectionately nick-named “the flying brick.” This bike comes with a couple of nice extras worthy of note: a comfy Corbin Canyon Dual Sport Saddle, and Engine Protection Bars.

For a PROJECT BIKE, and especially one that’s been around now for thirty-six years, the cosmetic condition is not so bad. Look beneath the dull film of neglect and and you can see that there’s basically an undamaged motorcycle there waiting to be reborn. Some deep cleaning and restorative polishing will do wonders to bring the shine back. Please note, however, that the original side covers are missing, but their absence has no bearing on the bike’s functionality or its ability to pass Maryland Safety Inspection.

This is a PROJECT BIKE whose future is bright because the effort and investment needed are quite manageable for a potential owner/enthusiast who likes to tinker. Are you the one? Time to get on it!
