1984 BMW R 100 RT, Original BMW boxer twin tourer, low actual miles! The ’80’s BMW Airhead bikes are getting a bit collectible, especially ones with decent miles which this one has…under 40k on this motor is barely broken in! Fella was given this bike by his wife as a retirement gift, she had bought it off an acquaintance of theirs. Unfortunately health has prevented him from ever really getting out and enjoying it, and it just sat for a few years in his garage. We picked it up for consignment and saw that it needed some work so it has recently gotten: new fork seals, new fork boots, new battery, brake fluid flush, new front brake pads, new grips, new oil cooler lines and new cylinder cover gaskets. Bike runs very nice and strong, and drives as it should, and for extras/upgrades has a larger windscreen, the BMW side hard luggage cases and a rear sissy bar and luggage rack. Cosmetically it won’t win any bike shows as it has enough blemishes to drop the appeal down some, but it looks solid from a few feet away and could always be repainted and would look great again.
