You can see from the photos how good this PROJECT BIKE looks; truly amazing for a 28-year-old with over 60,000 miles on it! The Mystic Red painted surfaces, wheels, seat, and muffler are all in excellent condition. Its only cosmetic issues are negligible: light tip-over scratches on the right-side valve cover and guard, mirror, and brake lever, some paint bubbling on the left-side valve cover, mild surface rust on the front cover hardware, front shock housing, and front brake disc hardware, and some black paint has chipped off the radiator housings on both sides. None of these issues are serious, rather, all quite typical.

The mechanical condition of this PROJECT BIKE, on the other hand, will give your busy hands something to do this winter. Here is a list of the service issues we identified after our thorough examination:
• The Fuel Pump does not function and there is considerable sediment (rust) inside the tank
• The battery is dead.
These two conditions are the reason the bike won’t start or run. The tank will need to be thoroughly flushed and cleaned, perhaps coated internally, the fuel pump will need replacement, and there may be further maintenance required on other components in the fuel system such as the injectors.
