1985 Honda SABRE V65

$2,999

This is a retro rocket!! I got this bike as a project and spent 18 months bringing it back to daily riding condition. Here’s what I did:
-Rebuilt front brake calipers and master cylinder including the sightglass, flushed lines and installed new pads.
-Rebuilt rear brake caliper, replaced the brake fluid resorvoir, flushed lines and installed new pads.
-Rebuilt clutch master cylinder including changing the sightglass and flushed lines.
-Replaced front brake light switch.
-Installed new fork seals and replaced oil.
-Changed the rear drive oil and replaced rear drive vent.
-Changed engine oil/filter.
-New battery.
-Rebuilt starter. (I will give the buyer a spare working starter)
-New Starter solenoid.
-Cleaned radiator, replaced hoses and installed new thermostat and temp switch.
-Replaced all bulbs and changed headlight to LED.
-Replaced the wiring to the rear taillights.
-Rebuilt the carbs including crossover tube orings.
-Changed spark plugs.
-Installed new Rectifier/regulator.
-Replaced the fuel pump with a high efficiency centrifigal pump
-Replaced all fuel lines and fuel filter.
-Rebuilt the fuel peacock on the tank.
-Replaced the hand grips.
-Pulled all emblems and cleaned/ repainted.
-Stripped the tank and had 3 coats of clear coat professionally applied to retain its “Patina” look.
-Pulled all the plastic. Stripped and repainted.
-Installed 1.5″ handlebar risers.

Now the only issue:

I didn’t go internal so it does slip in 2nd gear if you pull hard on it. If riding normal, no issue. Downshift into 2nd for turns, no problem. If I got to go hard, I get into 3rd anyway. You are welcome to call or text questions. Clean blue title.
