1989 Honda GB

$5,500

This gb500 is one cool bike! It looks cool, has quite nimble handling, and people stop you on the street to offer compliments. Happens all the time. It is modeled after the Tourist Trophy motorbikes of the 1950s British Isles; perhaps that is why it looks so cool. A single cyllander 500cc thumper. But if you’re reading this posting, I’m rather sure you know all that.
I’ve owned this bike for almost 20 years. And I had one before it too. It’s just a really fun bike to ride. I live in the Colorado Rockies and ride it up and down the canyons exclusively. It’s never been an in-town bike — less wear and tear. 16931 miles. She has great rubber and has been maintained like only a middle-aged dad can do. No mechnical issues ever. There are a tiny few scratches and dings, actually not many at all. No crashes. It handles remarkably nicely, quick steering not slow and mopey. She has an effective kick-starter and comes with a single-rider seat ( w. a nice fiberglass cover for the arching rear portion of the seat). All is original, except for the horn. And that’s a good thing! It comes w two keys, the original owner’s manual, and a cute tool kit. I’m only selling this beloved lady because I’m getting a little too old for it. I got kids to put through college. Please don’t respond with the canned response: “is this bike still available?” Instead, text me at 720-289-8264. Cheyne ( pronounced: Shane). Ps: and this is a really good price. Just go check eBay or other listings.
