The 2005 Ducati Monster S2R boasts features such as a single-sided, dual muffler exhaust system, a single seat, blacked-out, cast-aluminium wheels, a steel trellis frame, a digital instrumentation display, a small fairing with a windscreen, Brembo brakes with dual discs and a single disc in the front and in the rear, respectively, plus a high-end suspension package, composed of a fully-adjustable Sachs monoshock with progressive linkage in the rear and a 43mm fully-adjustable upside-down fork in the front.In the engine department it is powered by an air-cooled, four-stroke, 803cc, 90-degree V-Twin demodromic powerplant, mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, that produces a claimed 77 horsepower and 73 Nm of torque.
